A New Way for Moose Leaders to Learn and Grow

The Education Team at Mooseheart is proud to announce the launch of the new online Lodge Leadership Course (LLC) — the first of several core Moose University courses now available through the MooseU learning platform.

The online LLC brings the same quality instruction and practical leadership training that members have experienced in the classroom to a flexible, self-paced format that comes as close to in-person as possible. Designed for Lodge Officers and volunteers, the course focuses on the skills, communication, and teamwork needed to lead effectively in today’s Moose.

After taking the old course not too long ago, I do truly feel this is a huge improvement. It’s clear, concise, easy to follow and understand.

About the Course

The online Lodge Leadership Course mirrors the in-person experience but allows learners to complete lessons at their own pace. Interactive modules, real lodge examples, and scenario-based questions help participants apply what they learn immediately within their own Lodge environment.

Key topics include:

• Understanding leadership roles and responsibilities
• Building stronger teams and communication
• Setting goals and managing Lodge operations
• Handling challenges while maintaining teamwork and morale

Participants can start the course at any time and will receive credit upon completion, just as they would for the in-person version.

Strengthening the Future of Moose Leadership

The online LLC is part of a broader initiative by Moose University to make leadership education more accessible to all members. Whether someone serves as an Administrator, Officer, or volunteer, this program offers a consistent, high-quality experience that reflects the standards of the Fraternity.

The Education Team continues to expand the Moose University platform with new courses, updated training materials, and upcoming short courses that focus on specific areas of Lodge operations.
