The Chaplain plays a supportive role in Lodge meetings and ceremonies and serves on the Financial Review Committee. This role also carries responsibility for expressing the Lodge’s compassion and respect during times of sickness or loss.
Duties include:
- Attend Lodge, Board of Officers, and Executive Session meetings.
- Memorize and deliver their part in the Opening Ceremony.
- Preside at meetings if the President and Vice President are both absent.
- Prepare for future leadership by learning the responsibilities of President and Vice President.
- Serve on the Financial Review Committee, but not as its chairman.
- Visit the sick, disabled, and distressed, and provide a full report at each Lodge meeting.
- Conduct the Tribute of Service for deceased members upon request from the family.
