One District President is elected from each district of the Association for a one year term (re-election is allowed) and represents their district on the Association Board of Officers.
Responsibilities
- Attend Association Board of Officers meetings.
- Visit each Lodge in the district at least once during the term, beyond district meetings, to encourage fraternal programs.
- Request the district's elective officers to make at least three visitations per year, not counting their own Lodge.
- Appoint all district chairpersons and require their reports at each scheduled meeting.
- Encourage each Lodge in the district to be active in the Association and cooperate with the Association Secretary in collecting Association dues.
- Cooperate with the Association Ritual Chairperson on Ritual Staffs and ritual quality in Lodge ceremonies.
- Prepare written reports covering all district activity, and ensure the District Secretary submits meeting and financial reports within two weeks of each district meeting.
- Take an active role in increasing membership by promoting membership and signing members.
