The Junior Past Regent is an office of condition rather than a traditionally elected role. It is automatically assumed by a Senior Regent completing her term.
Responsibilities
- Preside over meetings when the Senior Regent is absent.
- Lead the Chapter in the Pledge of Allegiance, the National Anthem, and devotional exercises.
- Serve as Chairman of the Golden Gavel Committee.
- Visit or contact the sick, disabled, or distressed whenever possible and report to the Chapter at each meeting.
- Supervise the Funeral Ceremony when requested by the family of a deceased member.
